Ensures the development and implementation of evidence-based programming and treatment strategies. Provides clinical and administrative supervision to a staff of mental health professionals and provide direct clinical services and interventions when needed. Oversees service delivery and meets all administrative, legal and programming requirements as mandated by state regulations and all operating contracts. Collaborates well with WCS management, behavior supports staff, direct service professionals, case management, psychiatry, nursing, education and other professional service areas. Participates in quality improvement and risk management activities. Participates in the intake evaluation and selection process for assigned programs. Provides direct clinical supervision in support of treatment implementation and the collaboration of clinical staff with other team members Oversees the development of therapeutic programming and ensures the development and implementation of evidence-based treatment strategies in compliance with best practice guidelines and regulatory requirements. This may require hands on coaching and training in the community-based homes Helps develop and implement a daily milieu and provide efficacy checks to staff to ensure programming is consistently, properly, end effectively implemented Ensures that services provided are consistent with individual client needs and best practice guidelines Provides direct clinical services when needed, including, but not limited to client observations in the homes, the development of behavior modification programs, (BSPs), intensive staff training and oversight, case consultation, therapy, risk assessment, and crisis management Ensures the timely completion of all clinical documentation and that documentation meets required standards Ensures clinical staff compliance with training requirements Ensures communication of clinical information between all team members, both internal and external. Assumes the role of the on-call administrator on a rotating basis. Completes incident reports as required. After receiving appropriate training, conducts HCSIS investigations Reviews clinical data and evaluates treatment/program efficacy Conducts intake assessments and participates in the admissions process Participates in quality improvement and quality assurance/risk management, licensing and accrediting activities as directed in cooperation with the Quality Improvement department Maintains effective communication and working relationships with Woods’ management, colleagues and subordinates Other duties as assigned or deemed appropriate Three years’ experience providing direct clinical services to individuals with IDD, Autism and complex behavioral challenges is required. Three years’ experience in a clinical leadership or management role is required Candidates with prior community-based residential service delivery models preferred Earned doctorate in psychology or closely related field with Pennsylvania Psychologist license (preferred) or license eligible, or Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or related field and Pennsylvania licensure as a professional counselor (LPC) required. Must physically be able to provide behavioral support and intervention as needed to ensure client and staff safety.
