Here, you will make an impact by: + Transportation and Electronics Business Group (TEBG) are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Channel and Distribution to lead our global channel and distribution strategy. + This strategic leadership role will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the development and execution of robust channel strategies, optimizing distribution networks, and enhancing partner relationships. **Key Responsibilities:** + Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive channel and distribution strategy that aligns with 3M’s overall business objectives and drives sustainable revenue growth across multiple product lines. + Channel Development: Identify and cultivate new distribution channel strategies while optimizing existing partnerships to expand market reach and enhance customer engagement. + Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform channel strategy and ensure alignment with market demands. + Performance Management: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate channel performance, ensuring accountability and driving continuous improvement. + Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure cohesive execution of channel strategies and alignment with overall business goals. + Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global team of direct and indirect channel and distribution professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. + Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, channel partners, and industry influencers. + Budget Management: Oversee the channel and distribution budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize return on investment. **Your Skills and Expertise** To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing (completed and verified prior to start) + Twelve (12) years of experience in channel management, distribution strategy, or related roles, with a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth in a private, public, government or military environment. ​Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: + MBA/MA/MS preferred. + Strong understanding of various distribution models and channel dynamics, with the ability to adapt strategies to different markets and customer segments. + Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams. + Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization. + A proactive and strategic mindset, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement. **Work location:** + **Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Maplewood, MN** **at least** **4** **days per week)** **Travel:** May include up to 30% domestic/international **Relocation Assistance:** Not authorized **Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).** **Supporting Your Well-being** 3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
