Director Of Cath Lab Position Summary
Responsible for the oversight and management of the Department; works with patients from adolescent to geriatric. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Develops and manages the annual operating and capital budget; directs daily operations of assigned departments; directs performance of staff; has ability to hire, fire and discipline;
THE DIRECTOR OF CATH LAB CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
Education:
Required: Graduate of accredited school of nursing and/or accredited
school of radiology and/or accredited school of cardiovascular technology. Preferred: Bachelors degree preferred
Experience:
Required: 5 years experience in cardiovascular services. 2 years management experience in related field
Certifications:
Required: RNs must be currently licensed, certified or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy, AART, ACVT or RCIS; AHA BLS
