As Director of GTM Business Intelligence at Samba TV, you’ll manage the GTM BI Platform  (Visualization, ETL, Database, etc.), ensuring smooth workflows that help enable and empower Sales, Product, Finance, Leadership, etc. functions to retain and grow revenue. You’ll work closely with other members of the Revenue Operations Team, Sales and Sales Support Leaders and Finance to help optimize our GTM BI Platform. This is a pivotal role to help increase visibility to our data and help our client-facing teams spend their time driving revenue and supporting clients.
Requirements: must live within 50 miles of the Samba NYC Office. Required in office 3 days a week (Tuesday-Thursday) with a possibility of increasing in the future.What You'll DoBusiness Ownership: Be the owner of Samba TV’s GTM BI Platform, managing a team ultimately responsible for revenue tracking across the company and deep understanding of order to revenueResponsible for data accuracy and troubleshooting, ensuring all partner revenue is accurately displayed within BI platformArchitecture and Integration: oversee development of end-to-end data pipelines, schemas, and ETL processes to unify disparate data sources into a reliable BI environmentData Migrations: Manage and execute large-scale data migration projects and comparable complex assignments.Technical & Leadership Skills: Deep understanding of end-to-end data flow, APIs, databases, and BI tools.Visualization and dashboard creation expertise; Power BI preferred.Data Governance: implement best practices (taxonomy, naming conventions, documentation) to ensure consistency and reliability across all reportingReport Logic Standardization: Drive the standardization of reporting logic across multiple Samba products, ensuring alignment, attribution logic, and calculationsData Integration: Prepare and integrate outside datasets, including first-party and non-standard digital inputs, into analytics workflows.Data Quality & Anomaly Detection: Implement QA processes and anomaly detection to safeguard data integrity across all deliverables.Revenue Reconciliation: Oversee the monthly reconciliation process to ensure all booked revenue is accurately captured, validated, and aligned across CRM, BI, and Finance systemsStakeholder Management: Engage with internal leaders, and cross-functional teams to drive adoption of data solutions and workflowsWho You AreCurious – Always learning, humble when you don’t know something, and eager to improveProactive – You see opportunity in every challenge and work fast to deliver value to clientsCollaborative – You’re a team player who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environmentSelf-Starter - You seek out opportunities to solve problems instead of waiting to be told what to doCommunicative - You overcommunicate to ensure your stakeholders are aligned with expectationsOwnership - You take Ownership in your roles and responsibility and can be counted upon to deliverWhat You Bring10+ years of experience in BI, Database Management or related rolesExperience overseeing BI Platforms and managing a teamExperience in Media/AdTech with deep Programmatic, DaaS and Project knowledge and understanding Strong understanding of CRM database structures, object relationships, and reportsStrong BI tool skills (Alteryx, Power BI, KNIME, Looker etc.)Database & ETL experience (Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, GCP. BigQuery, etc.)Strong understanding of the Ad Tech and Media landscape specifically Audience and Measurement reports across various platformsStrong communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive, collaborative approachExcellent attention to detail and willingness to troubleshoot for complete accuracyBA/BS with a focus on Data, Business, data, or related experience$165,000 - $185,000 a yearSamba TV expects to offer a base salary between $165,000 - $185,000 USD per year for roles to be performed in New York City; actual base salary offered will depend on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Base salary is just one component of Samba TV’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include bonuses, short-term incentives and long-term incentives.
