A Day in the Life
Directors of Business Development lead business development and admissions efforts for hospitals. You will oversee a team of Clinical Liaisons and Admissions Coordinators in developing and nurturing professional relationships with physicians, discharge planners, payers and other clinicians in acute care hospitals.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and support the team in the field, focusing on relationship-building with hospital leaders.Remove obstacles and enhance team training and development.Work with hospital directors and CEOs to strategize admissions and streamline processes.Develop effective messaging and utilize data to guide best practices.
Qualifications
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a clinical field.3-5 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare business development supervision role.Preferred skills that will make you a successful Director of Business Development:
Master’s degreeClinical License Knowledge of insurance reimbursement and regulationsProven success in team development.Additional Data
