The Director of Workforce Strategy and Operational Excellence is responsible for executing and supporting workforce planning and operational efficiency initiatives across the health system. This role leads the development and implementation of workforce management strategies and processes to ensure optimal resource utilization and alignment with operational and financial performance goals. The Director serves as a key operational resource, providing actionable reporting, analysis, and continuous improvement recommendations. Additionally, the Director champions the adoption, optimization, and effective use of workforce technologies—such as UKG/KRONOS—to enhance scheduling, staffing, and labor management capabilities across the organization. Develops strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and decision makers.

Candidate Qualifications
Candidates for the position will be selected from a diverse pool and will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.
Bachelors degree required; MBA or MHA preferred.7 years of relevant experience required. Healthcare operations preferred3+ years of leadership experience is preferred. Experience with Kronos|UKG preferred Experience with workforce planning, staffing and scheduling preferredRequires experience leading in a complex, matrix environment.Requires experience working with and presenting complex data analytics.Requires experience leading and implementing large scale process improvement initiatives that drive measurable business results.
