Job Summary and Responsibilities
An amazing opportunity has just opened for a Director Nursing of Perioperative Services for St. Bernardine Medical Center. In this role, you’ll oversee the daily operations of the Operating Room, PACU, and Sterile Processing departments. You will develop and manage strategy, budget, resource allocation, and will regularly assess the unit operations and identify process improvements to enhance patient care and patient experience. To do this, you will lead a team comprised of 200+ staff members with four managers. Our surgical services consists of 10 operating rooms, and we offer services for many specialties including open heart, general, urology, orthopedics, and robotics with our two DaVinci Xi units.

Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (e.g. BSN) or equivalent education and experience and Master's degree in nursing or other-related field (e.g., MSN/MBA/MHA) required. Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience required.Minimum two (2) years of leadership experience required.Required Licensure: Registered Nursing License (RN) in CA required.Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
