J.Crew is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director, Mens Brand Marketing to lead our men's brand strategy and marketing initiatives. This leadership role will be responsible for driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth for J.Crew's men's division through innovative marketing campaigns, strategic partnerships, and compelling brand storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Leadership
Develop and execute comprehensive brand marketing strategies for J.Crew men's division, aligning with overall company objectives and brand positioningLead the evolution of the men's brand narrative, ensuring consistency across all customer touchpoints and marketing channelsDrive brand differentiation in the competitive menswear landscape through innovative positioning and messagingCollaborate with cross-functional teams including merchandising, design, and creative to ensure brand cohesionMarketing Campaign Development
Oversee end-to-end development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, traditional, and experiential channelsLead seasonal marketing calendar planning, ensuring campaigns align with product launches and business objectivesManage campaign budgets, timelines, and performance metrics to optimize ROI and brand impactPartner with creative agencies and internal teams to develop compelling visual and written contentCustomer Engagement & Growth
Develop customer acquisition and retention strategies specifically for the men's target demographicLeverage customer data and market insights to inform marketing strategies and campaign targetingDrive engagement across digital platforms including social media, email marketing, and e-commerceLead customer experience initiatives that enhance brand loyalty and lifetime valuePartnership & Collaboration
Identify and execute strategic brand partnerships and collaborations that elevate the men's brand profileWork closely with PR and communications teams to secure media coverage and brand visibilityCollaborate with retail and e-commerce teams to ensure marketing initiatives drive traffic and conversionPartner with international teams to adapt marketing strategies for global marketsRequired Qualifications
Experience
7+ years of brand marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership roleProven track record in fashion, lifestyle, or consumer goods marketing, preferably in menswearExperience managing content and marketing budgets and delivering measurable business resultsStrong background in integrated marketing campaign development and executionEducation & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fieldDeep understanding of the menswear market, customer behaviors, and competitive landscapeExpertise in digital marketing channels including social media, email, SEO/SEM, and influencer marketingStrong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategiesExcellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneouslyLeadership & Communication
Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environmentExceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to senior leadershipStrong creative vision with ability to translate brand strategy into compelling marketing executionsCollaborative leadership style with ability to influence without direct authorityPreferred Qualifications

Salary Range: $136,000.00 - $170,000.00At J.Crew Group (JCG) we aim to pay competitively for our company’s size and industry. The base salary offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region of work premises, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. The base salary is just one component of J.Crew Group’s competitive total rewards strategy that also includes the opportunity for bonus, competitive benefits and perks.
