**The Opportunity**
This position works out of our Spain (Madrid) location in the Diabetes division. We’re focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.
As a Market Access Director you’ll be
+ Responsible for the Market Access operation in the country. Handles the hiring and development of the MA management. Has direct control of MA Management.
+ Promotes high levels of Ethical behaviour
+ Involve in the preparation of the proposal of the LBE and IBP for Spain
+ Representation of Abbott Diabetes Care in all political environment, government, associations and institutions.
+ Negotiating and contracting at health care insurances, new provider networks.
+ Is responsible to manage the people under his/her responsibility as a coach in the ethical way with the objective of work towards the excellence.

+ Achieving or overachieving reimbursement goals, sales and market share targets.
+ Driving profitable growth in a relevant business.
+ Driving profitable revenue growth price, volume, account and expense management, and through market share gain, market and account analysis.
+ Leading, developing and coaching a high performing team in generating business results.
+ Successful developing implementation strategy of country product launches.
+ Working with cross functional teams and cross-geography teams.
+ Developing and managing relationships with high profile stakeholders, and opinion leaders.
+ Representing the business at potential key internal and external events.
+ Actively drive change management transitions.
+ Monitoring, analysing reporting on competitors’ products and strategies, and driving appropriate business response.
+ Business analysis and corresponding MA strategy.
+ Cost center management according to plan and guidelines.
+ Develop high performance team.
+ Constantly look ahead to understand future trends and develop strategies accordingly.
+ Represent Business during National and International business reviews.
+ Perform all activities according to Abbott guidelines and policies.
+ State of the art stake holders Management
+ Close tracking of health political development,
+ Update of Management on all health political trends and development, relevant to ADC’s business,
+ Responsibility to gain reimbursement for ADC products,
+ Provide strategies and action plans to Management to become the preferred partner and health care supplier with health care insurances, GP, and Diabetologists organizations, etc.,
+ Negotiating and contracting with new KOL (healthcare insurances, new provider networks, medical care service centers, et, al.).

**Required Qualifications**
+ University Degree and on-the-job business exposure.
+ MBA or equivalent post graduate Diploma
+ Min 8 years of experience in Market Access
