Director/Manager Financial Reporting
Description We are looking for a highly motivated Manager of Financial Reporting to oversee critical financial operations within our manufacturing organization in Mankato area. This role requires a strategic leader who can manage reporting, compliance, and analysis while fostering a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management and the ability to drive process improvements. This is a hybrid model and salary up to $150K plus bonus up to 20%. If you are interested please reach out to Steve Cashman on LinkedIn or call Steve at 612.446.5690 Responsibilities: • Lead the month-end close process and ensure accurate account reconciliations at the subsidiary level. • Prepare detailed monthly financial reports and analyses in alignment with corporate reporting standards. • Support the annual budgeting process by providing insights and financial expertise. • Manage and mentor the Senior Corporate Reporting Accountant, fostering growth and development. • Offer technical accounting guidance and conduct research to ensure compliance with regulations. • Uphold corporate accounting policies and implement new accounting standards as required. • Contribute to key projects, including system implementations and other ad hoc initiatives. • Develop cash flow projections and communicate them to the parent company’s treasury department. • Assist in establishing and monitoring effective internal controls. • Provide in-depth financial analyses to support organizational decision-making. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting or a related field. • Expertise in preparing annual financial reports and ensuring compliance. • Proficiency in D365 and other financial software systems. • Demonstrated experience with treasury activities and cash flow management. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and technical guidance. • Proven ability to lead and develop team members effectively. • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
