Director Insights & Analytics

About the Role:

We are seeking a strategic Director of Insights & Analytics to lead finance and commercial insights, reporting to Strategic Finance. This role drives data-driven decision-making and financial planning, requiring expertise in FP&A, financial systems, and stakeholder engagement. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in finance, business analytics and stakeholder management.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a high-performing team with clear vision, coaching and development plans Foster a culture of fact-based decision-making and ROI-driven prioritization Support reporting and analytics needs of the Finance and Commercial organizations, including tool maintenance and enhancing capabilities Oversee the Finance of the Future program and drive continuous process improvements Enhance financial planning and reporting tools, including Anaplan, PowerBI and Databricks Drive unified business insights strategy and data science culture using Machine Learning and statistical models Maintain business analytics tools, automate reporting, and develop predictive analytics for commercial ROI Deliver actionable commercial insights that support strategic decisions in pricing, trade investment, channel performance, and customer segmentation Support strategic and financial planning through scenario modeling, profit pool analysis, and performance forecasting Influence and challenge the OpCo Management Team to maximize performance Build trust and communicate effectively with stakeholders across departments Define requirements for management reporting and liaise with D&T as needed

 

Key Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, data science, business analytics, management or related field; MBA, Masters or advanced degree preferred 8+ years of experience in business analytics and insights, preferably in CPG/FMCG Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills Strong financial and business acumen Knowledge of statistics, machine learning, and AI techniques Experience with cloud services (Azure or AWS), ETL processes and data governance Advanced level user of Microsoft Office tools including Excel and PowerPoint Strong communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the beverage-alcohol industry Experience using syndicated data (i.e. Nielsen or Circana) Proficient with financial planning tools (e.g., Anaplan, Planning Analytics or Hyperion) Experience with ERP or Database Management (incl. SAP and SQL) Familiar with Python and Databricks Familiar with Data Governance processes and tools

 

Compensation & Benefits:

Base Salary Range: $160,000 - $170,000+ Annual Bonus Benefits - Medical/Dental/Vision + Matching 401k Plan Vacation – 20 Days Paid Vacation & Unlimited Sick Days $200 Monthly Beverage Allowance
