Enterprise Architect with over 20 years of experience. This senior leadership role is pivotal in shaping and governing the technology landscape across multiple markets.
The ideal candidate is a trusted advisor who blends deep technical expertise with sharp business acumen. You will be responsible for developing the enterprise architecture strategy, leading digital transformation initiatives, and ensuring our technology investments are aligned with long-term business goals.
A key component of this role involves partnering with the sales organization in a pre-sales capacity to architect winning solutions for major enterprise clients and conducting rigorous platform and technology reviews to ensure strategic alignment and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Governance:
Develop, maintain, and communicate the regional enterprise architecture strategy, roadmap, standards, and principles. Establish and govern architecture review boards (ARB) to ensure project and program alignment with the target state architecture. Ensure all solutions are secure, scalable, compliant with regional regulations, and meet operational resilience requirements.Digital Transformation & Solution Design:
Lead and guide complex, large-scale digital transformation initiatives from conception to execution. Design and deliver end-to-end architectural solutions for major integration, modernization, and transformation projects. Explore and evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML, Cloud-Native, Blockchain) to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.Pre-Sales & Business Development:
Partner directly with the sales and business development teams in a pre-sales capacity. Engage with key enterprise clients and prospects as a technical expert to understand complex business challenges. Architect and design compelling, high-level solution proposals and visions that win client confidence and drive revenue growth. Translate client needs into actionable architectural blueprints for delivery teams.Platform & Technology Review:
Conduct comprehensive reviews of existing platforms, applications, and technology stacks to assess health, scalability, technical debt, and alignment with strategic goals. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, vendors, and partners through rigorous proof-of-concept and capability assessment. Provide expert guidance on application rationalization, cloud migration strategies, and API-led integration patterns.Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration:
Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, business unit leaders, and product teams, translating business strategy into technology imperatives. Collaborate effectively with engineering, product, security, and operations teams to ensure practical and sustainable delivery of architectural solutions. Mentor and guide senior architects and technical teams across the region, fostering a community of excellence.Qualifications & Experience:
20+ years of progressive experience in technology, with a minimum of 10 years in a senior enterprise architecture leadership role overseeing multiple countries or markets. Proven pre-sales experience: A demonstrable history of successfully supporting enterprise sales cycles, crafting solution architectures, and presenting to C-level clients. Extensive platform review expertise: Deep experience in conducting technology due diligence, platform assessments, and modernization planning for complex legacy and cloud environments. Technical Expertise: · Mastery of modern enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and agile delivery methodologies. Deep, hands-on knowledge of cloud-native development (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, APIs, DevOps, and digital platforms. Expert understanding of integration patterns, security frameworks, data architecture, and application lifecycle management. Experience evaluating and applying emerging technologies like AI/ML, IoT, and blockchain to solve business problems. Leadership & Personal Skills: · Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to see the "big picture". Outstanding communication, presentation, and influencing skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences at the highest levels. Strong leadership and mentoring abilities with a proven track record of building consensus and driving change in a complex, matrixed organization. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF) highly preferred.
