 Requirements & Skills:

High school diplomaFluency in EnglishExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenMinimum two years’ experience in news operations and production.Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipmentProficiency with broadcast control equipmentAbility to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in communications or a related field is preferred. Must be able to handle fast-paced live broadcasts and remain calm during breaking news. Candidate should be a problem solver and quick thinker to resolve existing issues and to work around problems that arise during live news. Early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays will be a part of the schedule. Please be prepared to furnish current references and shows (if available).
