We want you to apply! **Job Summary and Qualifications** Job Summary: The Director of Expanse Testing and Automation reports to the Senior Director, Expanse Shared Solutions. This role provides strategic leadership for the Clinical Testing and Automation teams and is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive testing strategies and automation solutions that advance Meditech Expanse initiatives. Working in close collaboration with Expanse Product team stakeholders, this position drives enterprise-wide frameworks to validate functionality, optimize workflows, and ensure successful implementation. Demonstrated excellence in leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and innovation is essential to achieve operational efficiency and accuracy across clinical and technical domains. As a key leader within the Expanse Program, fostering strong relationships with staff, peers, leadership, business partners, stakeholders, and vendors is critical to success. Responsibilities: 40% Strategic Leadership & Delivery + Provide oversight for enterprise testing and automation strategies supporting Meditech Expanse initiatives. + Develop and execute operational plans to achieve strategic objectives for testing and automation. + Serve as the primary liaison for Meditech Expanse requests, collaborating with stakeholders to evaluate products and functionality prior to resource engagement. + Assess change requests from clinical stakeholders for cost, enterprise impact, and resource requirements. + Lead teams in managing multiple testing and automation projects across diverse locations and divisions. + Ensure timely delivery of commitments while maintaining alignment with organizational priorities. 35% Operational Excellence + Oversee resource management, including prioritization, task allocation, and capacity planning. + Implement and continuously improve processes that support clinical operations and testing efficiency. + Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to enhance automation and testing capabilities. + Monitor and manage operational and project budgets, including resource costs, vendor fees, and departmental expenses. + Communicate effectively with leadership and facilitate resolution of conflicts involving staff, vendors, and business partners. + Develop and present strategic business cases to senior leadership to support enterprise initiatives. 25% Manage Administrative Tasks/Staff Development + Lead and develop a high-performing team of managers, analysts, and subject matter experts. + Drive staff engagement through regular meetings, one-on-one coaching, and quarterly performance reviews. + Promote leadership development, succession planning, and adherence to organizational standards and code of conduct. + Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the testing and automation teams. + Other duties as assigned Education: + Bachelor’s Degree Required + Master’s Degree Preferred Experience: + 5 or more years + Leadership experience Required Other Qualifications: + Prior project or product management experience required, experience with software applications and full project lifecycle required + Experience with EHR implementations and/or healthcare data required + Functional knowledge of IT processes required + Strong managerial and team building skills required + Strong communication skills for communicating with technology resources, product SMEs, Medical Staff, Division leadership, business owners and vendors + Ability to balance demands of multiple assignments with complex stakeholder groups + Strong Problem Resolution Skills including identification, tracking, escalation and resolution + Experience with process definition and documentation HCA Healthcare has been recognized as one of the World's Most Ethical Companies® by the Ethisphere Institute more than ten times.
