Patel Research Institute, also located at AdventHealth Tampa, leads the way in clinical and academic research in the areas of neuroscience, cardiovascular medicine, advanced surgery and more contributing valuable knowledge that leads to tomorrows cures for conditions such as heart failure, cancer and other diseases. **The role you'll contribute:** The Director of Pharmacy Clinical Pharmacy Practice oversees and develops strategy for implementation of clinical pharmacy practice changes for the hospitals within the West Florida Division of AdventHealth, infusion centers and integrated delivery network in collaboration with executive pharmacy leadership and division executives. Primary responsibilities include establishing and oversight of the strategy, design, implementation, and execution of clinical and operational initiatives that provide the highest quality care at the lowest cost, incorporating innovative and evidenced-based practices that align with current regulations. This position is also responsible for engaging medical directors and physician leaders to improve the value proposition of evidenced based pharmaceutical care while actively maintaining those strategic partnerships. Supports the development and implementation of drug utilization initiatives and integrated pharmacy programs to advance medication safety, optimize care expenses, and ensure regulatory compliance.
