**Job Description​** **Job Description** Saint Luke’s Health System is looking for an experienced, proven leader for our Director of Cardiovascular Surgical Services position. The Director of Cardiovascular Surgical Services position is responsible for the planning, organizing, directing and managing the administrative and operational activities of the CV Perioperative Services, CV Operating Rooms, CV Anesthesia and Preoperative Clinic. This position is responsible for driving the quality and resource management to ensure the implementation of current standards of practice and care. Position works collaboratively with Physicians and other departments to achieve quality patient outcomes with responsibility for compliance and regulatory standards. Along with Physician, Medical and Surgical Directors, Director of Cardiovascular Surgical Services will lead the development and implementation of strategic and business plans for these services. Opportunity for advancement within the health system is available for those individuals interested in taking their career to the next level. **Qualifications:** Experience at a Director level or higher Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (required) MO State Registered Nurse License (required) Basic Life Support Certification (required) **Preferred:** Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field Minimum of 5 years of CVOR management experience Experience working with a busy open-heart program Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City is one of the largest faith-based care hospitals in the region—offering many specialized programs and services.
