CGI is looking for a Director for our Center of Excellence in Business Driven AI, a strategic and advisory role within Business Consulting.
The role is responsible for driving business development, client dialogue, partnerships, and knowledge sharing within the field. The focus is on connecting AI and data-driven solutions to concrete business needs. You will help our clients create measurable value by integrating AI into their operating models, products, and services - while ensuring that CGI remains at the forefront of this development.
As Director of Business Driven AI, you will:
• Lead and develop CGI’s Center of Excellence for Business Driven AI, including strategy, priorities, capability development, and collaboration with other CoEs.
• Drive business development and sales within the area in close collaboration with client account leaders.
• Establish and develop C-level client relationships, focusing on how AI can drive efficiency, growth, and new business models.
• Develop thought leadership through publications, events, keynote presentations, and participation in industry forums.
• Build partnerships and collaborations with external stakeholders, research institutions, and technology partners.
• Coordinate collaboration across AI initiatives within CGI, both nationally and internationally, to create synergies and knowledge exchange.
• Drive internal capability development programs and contribute to building strong consulting capabilities in AI and business development.
• Support delivery and execution of client engagements requiring business-driven advisory services related to AI, data, and digital transformation.
We are looking for someone who has:
• At least 10 years of experience in management consulting, digital strategy, innovation, or data-driven leadership.
• Strong experience in leading business-driven AI or data-related initiatives—from strategy to implementation.
• Proven sales and business development capabilities, with experience in building client relationships and partnerships at executive level.
• A strong understanding of how AI creates business value, from both a technical and business perspective.
• The ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
• An established network within industry, energy, the public sector, or defense, and the ability to navigate multiple decision-making levels.
• Experience in senior leadership roles within AI, Analytics, Innovation, or Digital Strategy in consulting or industry environments.
Meriting Qualifications
It is an advantage if you have:
• Experience in building and establishing Centers of Excellence or practice structures.
• Knowledge of Business Design, service development, or business model innovation.
• Experience in leading partnerships with vendors, platforms, or research organizations.
