About the Role
Director , Equity Portfolio InvestmentPosition Objective:
Manage or assist equity portfolios under guidance of AIA’s investment mandates and philosophy and deliver results that meet/exceed company’s objectivesUndertake full spectrum of portfolio management activities including portfolio construction and maintenance, performance monitoring & analysis and risk managementAssist the Head of equity and CIO in management of AMC equity strategic initiatives in order to support the business’ sustainable growthConstantly assist and refine equity investment process in accordance with changing local regulatory and company requirementsRoles and Responsibilities:
Responsible to the management of specific investment portfolios. Need to ensure the achievement of multiple investment targets and objectives on both annual and long term horizon. Need to prudently follow all requirements of investment mandate, regulations, and complianceResponsible to the management of high dividend yield stock selection and high dividend yield portfolio managementOptimize investment return by effectively managing investment portfolio through sector allocation and stock selection according to changes in market dynamicParticipate on relevant research management work, if necessaryProvide fundamental, quantitative, and strategic analysis on macro economy, equity markets conditions and portfolio investment strategy with timely manner to CIO and Head of equityPrepare regular and special portfolio management reports or company/industry reportsContribute and participate in regular investment meetings to discuss market events and outlookMaintain a good and close relationship with all AIA China AMC’s trading counterparties in order to capture investment opportunities and facilitate investment transactionsAssist in team managementComplete other tasks or projects assigned by Head of Equity and CIOMinimum Job Requirements:
Preferably with a Master Degree with at least 8 years of domestic A share market equity investment experience.CFA or MBA preferredProven track record in portfolio managementProficiency in MS Office, Bloomberg, Hundsun, Wind and other investment application softwareStrong analytical and decision making skillAccountable, efficient, focus, detail oriented, and able to work under pressureGreat team playerProficient comment of spoken and written English in order to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholdersBuild a career with us as we help our customers and the community live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.
