Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech We are searching for the best talent for a Director, US Commercial Strategy & Insights to be located in one of our MedTech locations in West Chester, PA; Raynham, MA; Palm Beach Gardens, FL; New Brunswick, NJ; Cincinnati, OH; Jacksonville, FL; Irvine, CA; Warsaw, IN; Raritan, NJ. **Purpose:** The Director, US Commercial Strategy & Insights will work closely with the US President of Orthopaedics to drives sales analytics and performance measurement for $6 billion, 4,000 person sales organization. **You will be responsible for** **:** + Leading a team of 16 employees to deliver critical insights that shape regional strategy and execution + Create & present executive committee communications sharing both strategy and analytical insights about business performance + Responsible for Data science, Commercial Strategy, Competitive Analytics, Commercial Analytics, and Account management Analytics + Data Science - Generate data science models that drive both back-office efficiency and customer facing insights otherwise unavailable. Examples include (small selection): + ACM Implant size prediction based on provided patient metrics to significantly reduce the required on-hand inventory required for surgery and better predict our product needs. Advancing in areas such as image processing to use hip xrays to predict cup and stem size + SourceView platform, segment and SKU matching model finalization and deployment as a product. Using MLOps for developing inference pipeline and deploy the solution in SV environment. + Pricing engine- automated ingestion of hospital RFPs, interpretation of hospital language and format, translate to our pricing guidance, and develop proposal. + Data science use cases –Velys constrained LLMs, Velys direct marketing (surgeon targeting), Account Management digital deal modeler. + Commercial Analytics- Create analytics back-end data (in Alteryx) and dashboards (in Tableau) to drive strategy through to analytics. + Create and maintain over 200+ Business Analysis Dashboards to evaluate and diagnose key performance drivers. + Strategic opportunity analysis- Translating Marketing and Sales strategy into account level opportunity dashboards + Drive Sales opportunity funnel and related analysis to rally organizational resources to the most important opportunities + Uses data and influence to drive US commercial strategy including cross-platform go-to-market initiatives, investment allocation analysis, and long-range planning + Competitive Analytics- Analyze, pressure, and predict competitive market data. Forecast market and share data across our main portfolios. Analyze key portfolio and geographic differences and make appropriate recommendations. Diagnose competitive strategies and how we can respond. + Account Management Analytics and Strategy + Support the 92 person Account Management and Offer development with Analytical G&Os, Performance measurement, & Insight generation + Tie Commercial area business planning directly to account management goals through tight collaboration with commercial teams. Responsible for leading team able to leverage multiple data sources to drive critical insights that influence strategy; AcuityMD claims data, internal sales data from radar, NTS sales aligned data from maven, unstructured data sources when necessary, market share from consortium and our internal market model. Uses software such as SQL and Alteryx, Data visualization in Tableau. The expected base pay range for this position is $146,000 to $251,850. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees and/or eligible dependents are eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
