Job OverviewThe Director of Systems Architecture & Strategy drives T-Mobile's network and enterprise solutions, partnering with senior leaders, developing strategic platforms, and building high-performing teams. This leader is accountable for the strategy, development, and DevOps operations for critical systems that enable the Un-carrier strategy and deliver a superior customer experience. The role ensures end-to-end network capabilities, cost effectiveness, and innovation in support of business and marketing objectives. This leader will execute enterprise strategies, collaborate with partners and vendors, and advocate for T-Mobile's position as a leading technology company.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience required.Master’s/Advanced Degree preferred.More than 10 years of professional experience in developing highly scalable and highly available network solutions.5+ years leadership experience with at least 2 years managing people leaders.Enough about what you’ve done. Experienced in cultivating relationships at all organization levels.Expertise in enterprise infrastructure domains: compute, OS (Linux, Windows), storage (SAN, NAS, Object), virtualization (KubeVirt, VMWare).Strong understanding of hybrid cloud architecture and platform services.Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform), infrastructure-as-code, and DevOps/SRE principles.Familiar with 4G LTE, WiFi, 5G NR, and 3GPP wireless technologies.Financial and budget management, including use of metrics/scorecards.Expertise in hiring, developing, and inspiring high-performing teams.Strong strategic thinking and organizational agility in large-scale environments.Ability to analyze complex situations, make decisions, and communicate impacts.Negotiation, conflict resolution, and team advocacy skills.

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as qualifications and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
