Your Role
As the Director of Strategy and Innovation, you will be instrumental in driving strategic direction and fostering innovation within the Global Medical Writing function, particularly through AI and data-driven initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:
Who You Are
You are a strategic thinker with a robust technical background and a proven track record in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. Your qualifications include:
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (advanced degree preferred, e.g., MBA, PhD) with a strong focus on data science, AI, or related disciplines.
Work Experience: Over 12 years of professional experience in an international Pharma/Biotech/agency setting, with direct experience in Medical Writing preferred. You possess proven leadership skills in driving strategic innovation, particularly in AI and data-driven projects.
Competencies:
AI and Data-Driven Strategy: You are adept at leveraging AI technologies and data analytics to enhance business outcomes and streamline processes within the Global Medical Writing function.Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement: You foster a culture of proactive engagement and adaptive transformation, ensuring stakeholders are aligned with data-driven initiatives.Collaborative Partnerships: You lead efforts to harmonize data and digital strategies across Global Medical Writing, RQS, and R&D hubs, ensuring that AI initiatives are integrated seamlessly into strategic objectives.
Key Skills:
Strong technical proficiency in AI, machine learning, and data analytics tools.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.An innovation-focused mindset with the ability to envision and execute unconventional solutions powered by data insights.Adaptability to navigate ambiguity and complexity with resilience, particularly in the context of evolving technologies and data landscapes.
