This role is dedicated to driving best practices across all sourcing disciplines including analytics to enable data-driven sourcing events and negotiations, bringing innovation and new trends around tools and processes, and operational excellence across the organization's procurement function. The Director is responsible for developing and implementing procurement best practices, driving strategy and transformation for the organization and improve efficiency in execution of procurement operations to maximize value creation in support of 7-Eleven's key initiatives and growth strategy. Key Responsibilities: Strategy and Governance + Continuously improve the governance, processes and tools to mature the Strategic Sourcing Organization assisting teams on sourcing strategy development and execution of sourcing events to drive savings and reduce risks for SEI. + Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and establishing governance frameworks including cost policy tracking. + Maintain a multi-year Sourcing Roadmap working with the respective sourcing teams to ensure that all key categories are competitively sourced at a planned cadence. + Tracking and reporting on trends and regulations impacting sourcing of goods and services + Management of Sourcing function budget Process and Systems Optimization & Innovation + Drive continuous improvement in sourcing processes and identify, evaluate and implement new procurement technologies to support the transformation of the Sourcing team. + Lead or support procurement projects related to all aspects of Source to Contract and Procure to Pay systems and processes. + Responsible for Procurement Systems (Oracle Procurement, GEP, AdobeSign etc). Work with IT and Business to ensure that enhancements and integrations with other systems are functioning correctly and that upgrades are working as expected. + Determine use cases to leverage AI and automation as well as Global Support Center + Ensure that Sourcing Processes and Systems enable business and sourcing strategies in most efficient ways. Procurement Operations + Liaise with Global Support Center (GSC) Team to ensure that utilization and bandwidth is appropriately managed. Work with GSC Management Team to ensure that team is developed and establish if staffing additions/changes are required + Management of procurement operations teams responsible for requisitions and other key procurement related activities including contract management + Responsible for managing company Supplier events as needed during the year Analytics & Reporting + Manage the Sourcing analytics team and lead spend analytics and reporting and define core metadata structures for accurate reporting. + Collaborate with respective sourcing teams to provide analytics around market benchmarks and competitor information, commodity tracking, building should cost models and finding other relevant benchmark information to be leveraged during the sourcing process to evaluate goods and services + Track and report savings and monitor savings initiatives for progress. Enablement & Training + Develop and deploy training programs and initiate and support Sourcing team capability building opportunities + Facilitate best practice sharing, template development and act as a central point of contact for procurement + Implement and manage the change management needed for system and process changes both for Sourcing team but also for stakeholders as needed + Explore and evaluate sourcing options from the business’ perspective and assist sourcing teams to find suppliers and solutions that best meet their needs. Team Leadership + Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing, diverse, and inclusive team. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field. + 15+ years in strategic sourcing and procurement within large, complex organizations, including transformation and operational excellence leadership. + Deep knowledge of procurement analytics, contract management, supplier relationships, and sourcing technologies. + Strong analytical, financial, and risk management capabilities; excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills. + Proven ability to lead diverse teams and drive change across organizational levels. High level of agility and adaptability; ability to quickly learn details of new business challenges and identify dependencies and impacts of other key initiatives. + Drives results and designs and implements business metrics to monitor, track, and report on sourcing project progress.
