Your day at NTT DATA
The Director, MS/Services Architecture is a leadership role, responsible for owning the delivery of technology advisory and implementation solutions that extract and maximize business value from Managed Services/Services investments at client sites and /or reduce the cost of doing business.

This includes architecture, engineering, and operations services for the Managed Services/Services strategy, innovation, operations, and infrastructure required to deliver efficient and effective platforms fundamental to business success.

Key responsibilities:Works across multiple architect community of practice to strengthen collaboration and knowledge sharing across the Architect community in the country and/or region.Drives the facilitation of regular training activities on relevant topics and subject matter to build MS capability.Manages the design client’s Managed Services/Services solution based on our portfolio offers.Ensures the creation of standards and tools for new solution architecture and deliver continuous delivery frameworks that will promote and establish a reliable Managed Services/Services business within the company.Interfaces between sub-region/ country Architect Lead and other Service Leads for example, Head of Consulting, Head of Support Services, etc.) to develop an integrated solution strategy.Manages the sub-region/ country Architects in the relevant Managed Services/Services team – Enterprise Architect, Service Architect, and Platform Architect.Provides advice for the Managed Services/Services strategy, innovation, operations, architecture and infrastructure required to deliver efficient and effective platforms fundamental to business success and client satisfaction.Manages TCV GP of Managed Services/Services bookings.Executes MBO-type review of degree of knowledge-sharing and collaboration across regional Architect community.Drives the transformation and growth for selling the particular practice across the countries and/or region.Ensures the utilization of market intelligence and insights they have gathered to influence Managed Services/Services product requirements.Drives people and resource management accountabilities.
To thrive in this role, you need to have:Significant knowledge across Enterprise Architecture, Managed Services, Service Management consulting, and multiple solutions areas (Business Units), and across domains, delivery units, and geographies.Excellent leadership skills and ability to think at a strategic level.Excellent written and oral communication skills coupled with excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders at different levels.Political savvy with substantial business and financial acumen.Excellent business negotiation and influencing abilities.Significant vendor relationship is required to ensure an understanding of the vendor’s products business and services positioning.Demonstrate excellent presentation skills, are innovative and have a formidable client orientation aptitude.Resourceful and confidently handles pressure in critical situations, ensuring at all times that client requirements are met.Significant knowledge in services industry, service delivery models, process improvements, consumption models and multiple Managed Services/Services portfolios of offers and GTM solution areas.Significant understanding of the vast range of IT Service Management and operations.Significant knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs, combined with strong understanding of business process, applications and infrastructure architecture.
Academic qualifications and certifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering or information technology or a related field.Certification and working knowledge of ITIL, Service Management and Integration preferred.Scaled Agile certification is desirable.
Required experience:Significant experience with and understanding of the deliverables and value proposition of Managed Services within a product marketing context.Significant strategic planning experience.Significant experience in coordinating the design and implementation of new delivery models in a significant globally federated delivery organization.Significant client engagement and consulting experience coupled with solid experience in client needs assessment and change management.Significant experience in relevant services and products and understanding of industry best practices.Significant sales and client engagement experience.Significant experience with SAFe/Scrum/Agile methodology (scale agile framework enterprise)Significant business development and pre-sales experience.Significant experience as a people and resource manager.
