POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Director, Slot Operations is responsible for the day to day operations of the Slot Operations Department.  This includes staffing, administration, training, discipline, guest experience, team development, planning and executing installations, preventive maintenance, sourcing, specification of and procurement of equipment. The Director, Slot Operations is responsible to develop strategic objectives, revenue generation, protection of company assets, ensure the smooth operation of overlapping areas of cooperation between other departments, particularly with Gaming Technical Services of IT, Table Games and Casino Marketing. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


1.    Contributing to providing a challenging and exciting environment for team members to work within.
2.    Ensuring the recognition of team member performance, including team performance, both in terms of positive desirable behaviour, and in terms of substandard performance, and the management thereof.
3.    Ensuring all department policies and procedures are maintained on an up to date basis, recommending changes to reflect changes to our business operations, and ensuring that these policies and procedures are adhered to.
4.    Making recommendations regarding strategic and operational improvements to improve department performance in both qualitative and quantitative terms.
5.    Oversee project planning and execution of all casino changes, through liaison with Strategic Marketing, Engineering, IT, Cage, and Security and Surveillance.
6.    Responsible for preparation of all Slot Machines PAGCOR submission documentation.
7.    Develop and maintain complete casino preventive maintenance schedule in order to keep all casino equipment in top working condition.
8.    Liaise with external suppliers on product sourcing for gaming equipment, furniture and accessories, including design and functionality.
9.    Assist with development of maintenance contracts and overseeing execution of outsourced maintenance work on gaming equipment.
10.    Oversee logistic arrangement for timely delivery of gaming equipment.
11.    Development of additional IGT reports to assist with business operations and monitoring of business performance. 
12.    Investigation of suspicious and negative hold machines.
13.    Oversee Slots Oprations Senior Manager and Area Mangers portfolio responsibilities, including training and coordination of rotation of these responsibilities.
14.    Development of messaging system for promotional purposes, and operational alerts.
15.    Overseeing development, and execution of team member hiring process.
16.    Overseeing development, and execution of team member training program.
17.    Recommend and/or execute management policies to hire, transfer, suspend, layoff, recall, discharge, re-assign, or discipline employees.

8.    Accurate and timely completion of assigned tasks.


QUALIFICATIONS:


I.    Experience


1.    Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in management role in significant gaming establishment(s).
2.    Extensive gaming system experience.
3.    Experience in Philippine gaming environment is an advantage.

II.    Education 


Tertiary qualification preferred.

III.    Skills / Competencies 


1.    Strong administrational skills.
2.    Proficient with Microsoft Office and electronic emailing system.
3.    Good Communication skills. Strong command of the English language in both oral and written form required and Filipino language as desired.
4.    Sound finance analytical skills.
