Director, Sales - Orthopaedic Instruments
Essential Duties & Responsibilities + It is the head of sales responsibility to ensure that customer satisfaction and performance over goal are the mutual passions of every Stryker Instruments Sales Representative. + Direct the activities of the Regional Sales Management team. + Ensures that Regional Managers hire and develop the best sales talent available. + Identify and develop sales people for the future management opportunities. + Evaluate sales performance and ensure corrective action is taken when needed and is done in compliance with guidelines. + Coordinate the development of Regional Management team. + Organize the Sales Department to meet the yearly product and sales goals. + Develop Regional and National expense budgets. Qualifications & Experience + Bachelor’s Degree in Business required, emphasis in Marketing or Finance preferred + 10+ years related sales and/or marketing experience + 2-4 years outside sales experience. + 2-5 years Regional Manager experience. + Must be able to generate and explain detailed contract documents. + Must be able to analyze regional and territorial potential. + Must recognize sales and managerial talent. + Must be able to generate and explain compensation programs, quota assignments, and territory realignments.
