**Position Summary**
Plans, directs, implements and coordinates the strategies and tactics to be employed by the Sales force and Region Managers in the effort to surpass our yearly goals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
+ It is the head of sales responsibility to ensure that customer satisfaction and performance over goal are the mutual passions of every Stryker Instruments Sales Representative.
+ Direct the activities of the Regional Sales Management team.
+ Ensures that Regional Managers hire and develop the best sales talent available.
+ Identify and develop sales people for the future management opportunities.
+ Evaluate sales performance and ensure corrective action is taken when needed and is done in compliance with guidelines.
+ Coordinate the development of Regional Management team.
+ Organize the Sales Department to meet the yearly product and sales goals.
+ Develop Regional and National expense budgets.
**Education & Special Trainings**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Business required, emphasis in Marketing or Finance preferred
**Qualifications & Experience**
+ 10+ years related sales and/or marketing experience
+ 2-4 years outside sales experience.
+ 2-5 years Regional Manager experience.
+ Must be able to generate and explain detailed contract documents.
+ Must be able to analyze regional and territorial potential.
+ Must recognize sales and managerial talent.
+ Must be able to generate and explain compensation programs, quota assignments, and territory realignments.
**Percent of Travel-** 70%
**Physical Requirements**
+ Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
+ Coordination of eye, hand and foot movement with an ability to grasp by hand and meet cognitive demands to include visual and auditory discrimination / memory, reading ability and memory retention ability.

+ Must possess strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication.
