Duties & Responsibilities Plan, develop, and oversee corporate communication policies, strategies, and activities that support Marafiq’s business objectives and ensure consistent, high-quality communication with all stakeholders. Lead internal communication initiatives that promote transparent employer-employee dialogue and ensure clear, consistent messaging across the organization using interactive platforms, digital channels, print media, and management communication tools. Oversee external media relations strategies to cultivate strong relationships with national and international media entities and ensure accurate, balanced, and objective media coverage of the company. Direct communication activities that ensure the company’s strong presence at exhibitions, seminars, and public events aligned with Marafiq’s business operations and public image. Manage public affairs strategies to build and maintain positive relationships with local authorities, government bodies, chambers of commerce, and other stakeholders to support business strategies and monitor policy developments. Oversee arrangements for VIP visits, CEO-related events, and site tours, ensuring professional execution and appropriate representation of the company. Supervise the procurement and distribution of corporate gift items that align with the company’s image and reflect event requirements. Act as the primary contact for media inquiries and ensure proactive engagement with communities and key stakeholders to promote understanding of the company’s operations and purpose. Lead the Public Relations & Communication Department by setting objectives, managing performance, and developing talent to achieve functional and departmental goals. Direct the preparation and management of the department’s budget, monitoring expenditure and identifying opportunities for performance improvement. Ensure effective development and integration of policies, procedures, and controls across all communication functions to ensure legal compliance, efficiency, and delivery of high-quality communication services. Oversee communication initiatives that promote employee awareness of safety, quality, and environmental practices, reinforcing the company’s commitment to corporate citizenship and social responsibility. Define and maintain an optimal organizational structure for the Public Relations & Communication Department to ensure effective resource utilization and efficient communication operations.
