Job Description Summary:
The core job responsibility is to shape, promote and protect the reputation of Coca-Cola (primarily the company but also the brands) and to create the conditions for sustainable business growth in line with our Business goals. To perform the execution of the Europe OU overall strategic direction through local initiatives within the area of public affairs and communications for the Danish market.
Enhance and protect the reputation of our Company, Category and Brands in Denmark including potential impacts on our reputation across Europe and Globally.
Drive franchise leadership with Bottling Partner to ensure plans are aligned and effective.
Support all major business initiatives where communications might be of added value for the success of the local business
What You’ll Do for Us:
Public affairs and stakeholder engagement:
Acting as a lead representative of the company in the Danish market to further the system’s interest through the establishment of effective government and industry relations and building strong relationships and golden triangle partnerships with stakeholders and businesses.Maintain franchise leadership through alignment on stakeholder outreach and goals.Corporate and category reputation management:
Lead initiatives that foster grass root connection through Community platforms, and proper amplification through paid, owned and earned mediaChampion our sustainability agenda and progress it locally through NGO engagement and forming the relevant and necessary partnershipsManage the Health and Wellbeing debate among HPCs, KOLs, Media and targeted consumer groups across DenmarkCollaborate with national food and drink and soft drink trade associations, in strengthening their proactive and reactive communications and stakeholder management,Create and implement (in line with EU OU/Global strategy) effective programs to enhance corporate reputation, further the corporation’s sustainability agenda and enhance category perceptionMedia Relations (including digital):
Act as a Company spokesperson in Denmark when needed.Prepare and distribute news releases and corporate statements through most appropriate channelsManage preparation and execution of content for distribution through traditional and digital mediaLead proactive media relations, developing personal contacts with a broad range of influential journalists, including business, health, medical, consumer affairs, science correspondents and influencers.Manage Crisis Communications according to the global standards (validation every two years).Brand and Internal Communications:
Manage the execution of Brand PR campaigns in liaison with PR agenciesManage Risk assessments of brand plansEnsure that achievements and events are communicated to all employees in a timely mannerQualifications & Requirements:
10+ years of professional PR/GR and Communications experience.A demonstrated interest in sustainability and awareness of its role in the food and beverage sector.Danish(native), Advanced English – both speaking and writingStakeholder relations managementAbility to work with external very high-level audiencesSkills to develop unique ideas that can be used to address business issues and improve the organizationStrive to build profitable, long-term relationships that drive value across the SystemBusiness writingPublic speakingUnderstand the role in building and delivering short- and long-term results to the businessAccept perspectives from multiple sources and identify opportunities to use themLeverage internal insights and external best practices to promote leading edge thinkingEmbrace change and demonstrate clear commitment to the success of TCCCAbility to work in a networked organization through strong collaboration will all functions and our bottlerUnderstanding business insights and strategiesExperience in operating in complex organizationExperience of issues and crisis managementExperience of advising senior management at MD/CEO levelTravel requirements:
