We are currently seeking a Director of Product Strategy to lead the strategic direction, commercialization approach, and lifecycle execution for a portfolio of IQVIA information‑based products and data solutions. This role is responsible for defining product vision, translating customer and market insights into actionable roadmaps, and partnering cross‑functionally to deliver high‑quality offerings that drive portfolio growth aligned to IQVIA’s broader business objectives.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or IQVIA data products, strong product ownership judgment, and a proven ability to guide complex products from concept through launch and scale.
Key Responsibilities
Own and evolve the product vision and strategy for assigned information offerings, aligning short‑ and long‑term roadmaps with business prioritiesTranslate customer needs, market trends, and competitive insights into clear product requirements, value propositions, and revenue‑supported business casesPartner closely with product development, sales, services, and go‑to‑market teams to ensure offerings are built, priced, positioned, sold, and supported effectivelyAct as a subject matter expert and internal leader for assigned products, ensuring timely, high‑quality delivery to marketDrive product release cycles using structured, agile‑informed methodologiesEngage directly with customers and internal stakeholders to provide thought leadership on industry trends, data strategy, and best practicesEvaluate competitive and complementary offerings in the market, including opportunities for partnership or expansionEnsure alignment between product capabilities, data assets, and commercial readiness across the product lifecycleQualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred15+ years of experience defining, leading, and implementing customer‑centric business or data solutions within pharmaceutical, life sciences, or related sectorsExperience working with vendors, sponsors, or service providers supporting clinical, commercial, or financial management solutionsProven ability to convert customer insight and market dynamics into scalable, value‑driven product strategiesDemonstrated success partnering with senior stakeholders across product, commercial, and delivery organizationsStrong strategic planning, communication, and influence skills; ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiencesExperience operating within or alongside agile product development environmentsRecognized internally or externally as a thought leader within the pharmaceutical or healthcare data ecosystemWhat Success Looks Like

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $107,900.00 - $300,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
