Director, Product Marketing International
Sage
Director, Product Marketing International
Job Description:
Are you a strategic product marketing leader with a passion for international growth? Join Sage as our Director of Product Marketing, International, where you'll lead go-to-market strategies across EMEA and other key global markets. This is a high-impact leadership role within our Global Product Marketing team, focused on driving regional success for our cloud financial management solutions, including Sage Intacct.
You’ll work cross-functionally with teams in marketing, product, and sales to shape messaging, refine enablement, and outpace the competition—all while keeping our global brand voice strong and consistent. This is a rare opportunity to influence Sage’s international expansion and make a real mark on the growth of a leading SaaS company beyond North America.
This role is hybrid, based in our London office, 3 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
What you'll do:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing tailored go-to-market strategies for the UK, Europe, and other high-priority regions. You’ll adapt global positioning to reflect local business practices, regulatory requirements, and cultural nuances—ensuring our message truly resonates with buyers in each market.
You’ll act as the voice of the customer for international markets, bringing valuable regional insight back into the business to help influence our product roadmap and strategic decisions. Leading regional product launches will be a key part of your day-to-day, working hand-in-hand with product, sales, and local marketing teams to ensure every launch lands with impact.
You’ll also take ownership of competitive intelligence in international markets, keeping a close eye on market dynamics, running win/loss analyses, and equipping sales teams with tools and insights to succeed in competitive deals.
Sales enablement will be another important focus. You’ll partner closely with enablement teams to deliver region-specific playbooks, messaging guides, and training that empower sellers to connect with customers in meaningful, relevant ways.
You'll collaborate with demand generation and field marketing to drive pipeline growth through targeted campaigns, content, and programs that speak directly to regional priorities and pain points.
As a senior leader, you’ll represent the international product marketing function across the business and play a pivotal role in shaping our global strategy. You’ll also lead and grow a small, distributed team of product marketers in Europe, supporting their development and ensuring alignment with global goals.
What we're looking for?
You’ve spent over a decade in B2B SaaS product marketing, with significant experience in international or EMEA-focused roles. You’ve successfully launched products and delivered go-to-market strategies across multiple regions—including the UK, France, and Germany—and you understand the importance of adapting for local customer needs and expectations.
Your messaging and storytelling skills are top-notch—you know how to translate complex product features into compelling narratives that resonate. Ideally, you’ve worked with cloud-based financial or ERP software and are confident navigating the nuances of both tech and finance audiences.
You’re a collaborative leader who’s comfortable managing cross-functional initiatives across time zones and cultures. You know how to build and lead high-performing teams, and you thrive in environments where curiosity, empathy, and ownership are key.
Fluency in English is essential, and additional European languages—especially French or German—would be a big plus. You’re also open to some travel (about 20%) to support your team and engage directly with regional markets.
Why You’ll Love It Here:
At Sage, you’ll be part of a global SaaS company that’s transforming how businesses manage their finances in the cloud. You’ll shape strategy at an international level and work alongside passionate, experienced colleagues who care deeply about their work. Our people-first culture values growth, collaboration, and impact—and we’re committed to helping you thrive, both professionally and personally.
What's in it for you?

• 8 bank holiday days
