Job Description:

About the Role

We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on Director of Product Marketing to lead go-to-market strategy and growth for the HPE Cloud Ops Suite — a unified portfolio including HPE Morpheus, HPE OpsRamp, and HPE Zerto.

You’ll define the Cloud Ops Suite’s value narrative, align it to HPE’s hybrid cloud and AI strategy, and partner across Product, Sales, and Marketing to drive awareness, repeatable sales motions, and pipeline growth.

What You'll Do

Build and Lead Product Marketing for Cloud Ops Suite

Define the Cloud Ops Suite narrative and positioning — unifying messaging across observability, automation, and resilience.

Build the GTM foundation: audience segmentation, messaging house, campaign and launch plans, and measurement frameworks.

Develop sales enablement, proof points, and campaigns that make the value clear and repeatable for HPE sellers and partners.

Align and Execute a Cohesive GTM Strategy

Align product, sales, and marketing teams to shared goals, customer value, and growth priorities.

Partner closely with Product Management to translate roadmap and innovation into clear customer value propositions.

Work with Sales leadership to define motions, plays, and enablement assets that convert awareness into revenue.

Partner with HPE Campaigns and Field Marketing to embed Cloud Ops Suite into global “battleground” programs and events.

Drive Awareness, Adoption, and Pipeline

Own the Cloud Ops Suite marketing strategy and measurable outcomes — from thought leadership and content to demand generation.

Develop and execute launch and awareness strategies that elevate HPE’s role in the hybrid cloud and AIOps markets.

Track and optimize marketing impact across awareness, engagement, and pipeline conversion metrics.

Establish the Team and Operating Model

Build the long-term PMM org structure to support growth across the suite.

Codify best practices in launch execution, messaging, and sales enablement — turning early wins into repeatable systems.

Who You Are

Strategic yet hands-on: You can set the GTM vision and execute the work yourself.

Builder and storyteller: You know how to craft clear, differentiated messaging in noisy markets.

Collaborative operator: You thrive at the intersection of product, marketing, and sales.

Metrics-driven marketer: You connect marketing activities to awareness lift, pipeline, and revenue impact.

Customer-obsessed: You deeply understand IT Operations, Platform Engineering, and Infrastructure leaders — their challenges, tools, and decision cycles.

Growth-minded leader: You build teams, frameworks, and processes that scale.

Requirements

15+ years of experience in B2B enterprise software product marketing, ideally spanning observability, hybrid cloud, automation, or resilience.

Proven success owning GTM strategy and driving measurable growth for software products or suites.

Expertise building positioning, messaging, and enablement that accelerates awareness and sales alignment.

Strong cross-functional leadership — can influence and align Product, Sales, and Campaign teams around shared outcomes.

Excellent storyteller and communicator — comfortable driving clarity from complexity.

Track record of launching high-impact campaigns and programs that connect strategy to pipeline.

Experience at a large enterprise or scaled B2B tech company (e.g., cloud, infrastructure, SaaS) a strong plus.

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or similar strategic marketing background preferred.
