Workplace Services Engineering is growing at Schwab! We are looking for an Architect who can help drive ourmodernization efforts specific to our Equity Compensation Technology department. A successfulcandidatewould be aservant leader who likes to stay hands to keyboard. They will be asked to design solutions, build tools, use AI toaccelerate delivery, and develop products. This role will also provide mentorship to junior associates; present designsto governance boards; and work directly with delivery teams.

Position Responsibilities:

Leads architectural initiatives from design to supportEstablishes methods to optimize enterprise architecture alignment and drive tactical executionChampions efforts that optimize system reliability through advanced life cycle management techniquesGuides transformative initiatives to optimize organizational capabilities for impactful resultsLeads the execution of system design strategies for cloud-based environmentsWhat you have

Required Qualifications:

Champions architectural strategies across teams and enterprisesBuilds enablement tools to improve time to market for delivery teamsHas developed and demonstrated AI strategies that can be multipliers for technical leadsDirects the strategic priorities for organizational capability improvementShapes strategic frameworks for innovative, system design and architectureDemonstrated strong coaching and mentorship skills for junior associates creating a culture of curious learningProven to be iterative and strategic in solution designs with a focus on Site Reliability Engineering tenantsExcellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills10+ years experience with Java / Spring5+ years experience with front end technologies – Angular, React, JavaScript3+ years experience with Google Cloud Platform and/or AWS​

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
