Director, Portfolio Growth and Innovation
**Job Description** **How you will contribute** You will: + Lead the development ofgrowthand must win battlesroadmapsandgo to marketplans forthe Business Unit and/ or category. Partnerwith Finance, Commercial, R&D, SC, and Legalfunctionsas part of the planning process.Defineframeworks for evaluating performance. + Act as a sounding board to relevant commercial stakeholders and champion scenario planning,where to win and how to play andportfoliorolesframeworks.  + Work closely with Marketing &Sales Strategyteams, helping them articulate their strategic opportunitiesrelated totheir strategic plans. + Lead governance of the implementation of keyinitiatives and projects flowing from the Strategic Plan + Lead discussions withregionaland globalleadership to explain the opportunities and gain alignment of specific actions and choices + Maintain ongoingmonitoringofemerging macro environment,category,channelandcompetitivetrendsin partnership with insights and analytics. **What you will bring** A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career with experience and knowledge in: + Growthroles for largefast moving consumer goodsorganizations + Relevant work experience in Marketing/Portfolio Growth/General Management (across Marketing/Sales/Finance/Operations) in a similar successful or larger size fast-moving consumer goods company. + Held assignments inconsulting firms orpartneredwiththemonmid to long termgrowthstrategies as well as project such asM&As(strategy, structuring, due diligence) + Leadership level experience inquantitative and qualitative analysisand tools. + Experience developingand executing3-year innovationand renovationpipelines,preparingsuccessful stage gate business cases. + Structured thinkingwith the ability to simplify complexityand deliver results. + Strongstory teller,communicator,collaboratorandinfluencer. Ability to partner across the organization and manage key stakeholders. You will play a critical role in defining and executing against the following areas: **Situation Assessment:** + Assessment of external macroeconomic environment (consumers, shoppers, categories, channels, competition) and internal business performancewith key implications and recommendations to BU **Portfolio of the Future:** ​ + Portfolio Roles: Defining category & brand roles across the business unit​ + Where to Play:Recommending new category growth spaces, adjacencies, must-win battles, brands,integrationsand M&A. + How to Win:​Developing and executing go to market plansfocused on the6 Ps of winning. **Portfolio Innovation:** + Develop and execute a 3-year pipeline innovation and renovation strategy for newwhite spacecategories,new brands, and cross categories. + Prepare innovation charters and product development requests for business case approvals. **Portfolio Capabilities** + Optimizethestrategic planning framework and adopt new repeatable growth models. + Develop internal and external category growth storiesin partnershipwiththe commercial organization. + Optimizetheinnovation processand capabilities whileleadingthe BU’sPMR. + Act as the single point of contact for Marketing capabilities/excellencefor the business unit. + Rallythe BUtowards new capabilities and partner internally to upskillcross functional teams. + Coach and develop direct report(s) + Special projects as needed **Education / Certifications:** Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a Business degree or related field MBA an asset **Work schedule:** Hybrid work schedule, Monday to Friday In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
