Job Summary

Reporting to the Vice President, PHSO Strategy and New Program Development, the Director, Population Health Strategy and New Program Development drives Population Health Services Organization's strategy, builds business cases and financial models for new programmatic initiatives, collaborates effectively with key stakeholders to design and build new programs, partners to evaluate the effectiveness of new programs, scale programs, manages complex projects, and ensures timelines are met. Excellent communication and facilitation skills with complex stakeholders and meetings.


 

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

Support formulation of PHSO strategy and execution

Work with Finance, Strategy, and Operations teams to set performance targets for each initiative

Assess new opportunities (ROI) and build business case (financial modeling with clearly detailed assumptions) for new clinical programs that maximize VBC contract performance

Conduct and/or lead the team to conduct market scan for best practices with leading organizations

Accountable to design, build, and implement new clinical programs in partnership with the team, physicians and administrative leaders 

Develop high level and detailed project plans that lay out goals and scope, key initiatives, key milestones, and clear timelines 

Monitor performance of programs to targets and goals

Review data to understand root cause and collaborate with stakeholders to problem solve

Present concisely and clearly to senior executives and leadership

Mentor and professionally develop a high functioning team

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

8-10 years of new Program Development and Operations experience

5-7 years of Strategy and Planning experience

3-5 years of Supervisory/Management experience


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong understanding of product development processes and methodologies.

Knowledge of market research and competitive analysis.

Excellent high EQ interpersonal and communication skills

Demonstrated ability to build relationships and effectively manage and get work done through influencing

Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent project management skills and highly organized

Effective leader in managing and developing a high function team

Proven track record of problem solving complex problems, building new programs, and execution

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excel in working in a large, complex, matrixed organization
