DAFgiving360 has entered into a services agreement with Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. for administrative and other services, including human resources. This position will be an employee of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. and will be subject to its policies and procedures but will report to and be accountable to DAFgiving360 for day-to-day activities.

The Director of the Project Management Office (PMO) will lead the strategic direction, governance, and execution of DAFgiving360’s enterprise-wide project portfolio.

This is a high impact leadership role for a proven PMO leader who has led teams through ambiguity, modernized delivery discipline, and can lead in complex, regulated environments.

You will lead a PMO supporting enterprise business initiatives, technology programs, and hybrid operational transformations and partner closely with senior leaders across business, technology, risk, and operations

What You Will Do:

Lead, coach, and performance manage a PMO team of program and project managers; direct people leadership experience is requiredReset PMO operating rigor across intake, planning, dependency management, risk escalation, and delivery accountabilityEstablish enterprise level portfolio visibility across business, technology, and hybrid initiativesReplace fragmented tracking (spreadsheets, Word, SharePoint) with scalable PM and portfolio management toolsDrive consistent project standards (plans, milestones, risks, decisions, retrospectives) and executive ready reportingPartner with senior stakeholders to manage cross-org dependencies, funding tradeoffs, and execution riskLead delivery in a regulated Schwab ecosystem, ensuring governance, controls, and audit readinessWhat you have

Required Qualifications:

10+ years of progressive experience in large enterprise project / program management5+ years leading a centralized PMO or equivalent function in a large, complex organizationDirect people leadership experienceProven delivery of enterprise business and technology programs with significant cross organizational dependenciesExperience operating in regulated environments (financial services, brokerage, banking, or similar)Deep expertise across Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models, with the ability to apply pragmaticallyStrong portfolio level planning, dependency management, and executive communication skillsHands‑on experience implementing or scaling PMO tools, governance, and portfolio reportingBachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Technology, or related field

Preferred:

Experience leading leaders strongly preferredProject Management Professional (PMP) certification strongly preferred; additional certifications such as PMI-ACP, SAFe, or Prosci Change Management are a plusMBA or advanced degree preferredExperience modernizing PMOs through tooling, automation, or AI enabled reportingBackground in transformation, operating model change, or large‑scale operational initiatives
