We are seeking a Director, Partnerships & Grassroots, Mexico to lead the Company's strategy for political engagement, alliances, and grassroots activation across Mexico. This role is pivotal in strengthening our license to operate through trusted relationships with key decision-makers, effective territorial presence, and proactive issue management in a highly dynamic political environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience with government and Congress, strong crisis-management capabilities, and a proven ability to design and mobilize influence networks at the national and local levels. What You'll Do for UsLead and execute Coca-Cola's partnerships and grassroots strategy in Mexico, aligned with LATAM and global PACS priorities. Build and sustain senior-level relationships with key public-sector stakeholders, including Ministers, Secretaries, Directors, Senators, Deputies, advisors, and technical consultants, while also managing relationships with business associations, industry chambers, NGOs, and other third-sector stakeholders relevant to the Company's public affairs agenda. Navigate and influence public decision-making processes, leveraging deep understanding of Mexico's political and institutional landscape over the past decade. Design, deploy, and manage territorial and grassroots structures that strengthen advocacy, issue response, and local engagement across priority geographies. Represent the Company in high-sensitivity forums, negotiations, and multi-stakeholder coalitions, positioning Coca-Cola as a credible and constructive partner. Lead crisis preparedness and response, coordinating closely with Communications, Legal, and PACS leadership to manage political and reputational risk. Enable rapid, coordinated action across internal teams and external partners, ensuring alignment between national strategy and local execution. Own and execute the PACS (ABP) for the function or geography, including budget planning and disciplined OPEX/programs budget execution, ensuring alignment with business priorities, bottler initiatives, and system-wide objectives; provide senior leadership support during issues, risks, and crisis (IMCR) situations as required. Requirements & QualificationsBachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Political Science, Law, Public Policy, International Relations, or related field preferred. 10+ years of experience working directly with government, Congress, or political affairs, with demonstrated exposure to federal and local decision-making processes in Mexico. Deep knowledge of Mexico's political, legislative, and institutional environment, particularly the evolution of public decision-making over the last 9 years. Proven experience managing senior-level relationships within the Federal Executive, Congress, and local governments. Demonstrated capability in crisis management, political risk assessment, and high-pressure issue handling. Experience designing, building, and managing territorial or grassroots structures to support advocacy and engagement objectives. Strong leadership presence, sound judgment, and the ability to influence without direct authority in complex and fast-moving environments. Full operational availability, with 100% travel readiness across Mexico as required. English proficiency required; Spanish fluency required for effective local engagement.
