About this Role

As Quanta Services scales beyond $27B, our operating companies are delivering increasingly complex and critical infrastructure projects across North America. Technology is a key enabler of that success—and we need to ensure every business has the support, tools, and partnership required to deliver.

We’re seeking a Director of Operations IT to act as a strategic connector between our corporate IT organization and over 40 operating companies. This role combines client relationship management, business consulting, and team leadership to ensure our decentralized teams can move fast while staying well-supported.

What You'll Do Build Trusted Partnerships Across the Business
Engage directly with operating company technology and business leaders to understand their goals, challenges, and priorities. Serve as their advocate within corporate IT.Lead a High-Impact Field-Facing Team
Manage and mentor a team of Business Technology Partners embedded in our operating companies. Set clear expectations, ensure consistent delivery, and foster a high-trust, service-oriented culture.Manage Demand and Drive Prioritization
Aggregate and structure technology needs across the business. Build a backlog of opportunities, facilitate prioritization discussions, and help translate business needs into actionable technology solutions.Coordinate and Improve Shared Services
Ensure operating companies receive timely, effective support from corporate IT. Monitor service delivery, surface friction points, and drive continuous improvement through feedback and metrics.Enable Collaboration Across Companies
Identify shared needs and patterns across operating companies. Help the business capitalize on repeatable solutions, shared tools, and scalable practices—without sacrificing local autonomy.Support M&A and Integration Readiness
As new companies join the Quanta family, help introduce them to our IT engagement model. Provide guidance on how to plug into shared services while retaining what makes them unique.
