Job Description
The Director of Marketing for Allergan’s Plastic and Regenerative Medicine business is responsible for leading all marketing efforts to drive growth, enhance brand awareness, and support sales objectives. This key leadership role will set strategic direction, manage the marketing team, and oversee the development and execution of comprehensive marketing plans targeting healthcare professionals, hospital procurement teams, outpatient surgical centers, providers, and payers.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor the marketing and surgeon training team, fostering a high-performance cultureCollaborate closely with cross function teams (sales, corporate accounts, pricing/contracting, medical affairs, operations, finance, R&D, regulatory, compliance and clinical teams) to ensure integrated execution of brand initiatives.Develop and implement multi-year marketing strategies aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirementsPartner to help shape the product pipeline and ensure alignment with market needs, customer insights, and long-term commercial strategyOversee product launches, ensuring effective go-to-market plans and positioning for hospital and outpatient surgical environmentsManage market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights initiatives, especially focused on hospitals, outpatient surgical centers, and other key stakeholdersBuild and maintain relationships with decision makers in hospital systems and outpatient surgical facilitiesDrive digital marketing, advertising, public relations, and event strategies targeting institutions, healthcare providers and patients active in hospital and outpatient surgeryMonitor and report on marketing KPIs and ROI with special focus on hospital and outpatient market segmentsAdvocate for the company at industry conferences, hospital events, and professional gatheringsEnsure compliance with medical device industry regulations and standards across all targeted environmentsQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred10+ years of marketing experience, with significant leadership responsibility in the medical device or healthcare sectorProven track record of successful product launches and driving business growth in hospital and/or outpatient surgical marketsStrong understanding of healthcare regulatory environment, especially as it relates to hospitals and outpatient facilitiesStrong background in both upstream and downstream marketing strategy. Exceptional strategic, analytical, and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in cross-functional teamsDemonstrated ability to manage budgets and deliver results.
This role is vital for shaping the company’s market presence among hospitals and outpatient surgical centers and for influencing the product pipeline, positioning the product portfolio for success in a competitive and highly regulated industry.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
