The Director, Marketing Strategy –B2C is a leadership role responsible for developing marketing strategies and campaigns for the North American B2C lines of business – including daily rental and car sales. The Director has responsibility for developing and evolving marketing plans to contribute to business outcomes and positively impact brand metrics. A successful Director will develop and maintain strong relationships with Operational leaders to implement marketing plans that deliver national, and regional business objectives and outcomes (ie. days earned, utilization, lead volume, etc.). This collaborative role is part of the North American Marketing Strategy team and works directly with other teams (i.e. Media, Digital Strategy, Creative) leveraging data and insights to develop integrated plans that deliver required results. This position is also responsible for the management and development of a team of Marketing professionals. The Marketing Director serves as an integral business partner and operates primarily independently.
This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in Clayton, MO.

With consideration for Brand, Public Relations, Marketing Services, Operations, and Sales proactively lead the strategic development, innovation, and implementation of all marketing elements including:Presenting to senior leadershipPrimary contact with outside vendors/agenciesProject management / promotional planningConsulting on large Group marketing requestsChannel communication and creative developmentCustomer/Account acquisition and retention strategyEvent and promotion development and implementationManaging budgets, reporting results, and providing ROI analysis for all initiativesMaintain/protect the brands in the implementation of all consumer/industry-facing messagingIdentify new marketing opportunities to grow the business; lead implementationDevelop and present marketing strategies to Senior Leadership designed to accomplish overall channel objectivesEffectively manage/influence a marketing development budget in excess of $1MAct as a thought leader, and set the example, within the Marketing Department. Act as a reliable consultant to the team’s Managers
