Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/innovative-medicine **Overall purpose of the job:** + Responsible for driving and developing the company wide, short – and long-term market access strategies for the different TAs in close collaboration with respective stakeholders on a local and regional level (ESO) + Responsible for assuring the Market Access for Johnson and Johnson Innovative Medicine (JJ IM) drugs through the whole reimbursement process in line with internal communication and external environments and Polish law by managing the Market Access & Pricing Team. + Market Access & Pricing Director is responsible for developing and continually enchaining best-in-class market access strategies and health economic value propositions and pricing strategies to achieve or retain a competitive advantage for JJ IM products closely cooperate with PLT, CVT and ESO and other functions as Patient Engagement & Advocacy, Governmental Affairs & Policy and Public Affairs and Communications. + Represents the Market Access and Pricing department in the PLT (Polish Leadership Team, of which this role is a standing member. + Represents JJ IM Poland in the respective committees and industry associations (e.g. INFARMA) + Driving and developing health economics business cases and instruments to support reimbursement and marketing of new and existing products. + Fosters strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and peers, e.g. Governmental Affairs, Medical Affairs, Commercial, Communication, Central Europe & Baltics Cluster (CE&B), Mid-Sized Market Cluster (MSM), and the European Strategy Organization (ESO) **Essential duties of this job:** + Developing the short-, mid-, and long-term market access and pricing strategy for J&J IM Poland in close alignment with pipeline development, CE&B, ESO, MSM, and the Polish Leadership Team (PLT) + Management and coordination of the work of the Market Access and Pricing Department. + Overall responsibility for timely Market Access and maintenance of reimbursement status of J&J IM products: reimbursement strategy, plans, HTA dossiers, MEAs, reimbursement renewals. + Overall responsibility for pricing strategy and monitoring of pricing trends and initiatives in the marketplace to ensure Janssen products are optimally positioned. + Strategical Management of other matters with the authorities as Polish HTA Agency, Ministry of Health, National Health Fund, and other relevant internal and external stakeholders. + Leading key negotiations with payers and authorities regarding the reimbursement of our products. + Close collaboration with EMEA/MSM/CE&B colleagues; exchange information, share best practices, adapt locally other countries projects suitable for local environment. + Close cooperation with PLT/CVT/PAG/GAPA/Communications. + Leading reimbursement and market access strategy for JJ IM portfolio + Actively developing and support Market Access and Pricing team members to grow successfully. + Enable specific skill and capability development to the respective team members paving the way for successful negotiations and for people to thrive Leading the cross-functional development of asset-specific plans and portfolio-wide market access priorities. + Ensure JJ IM is perceived as a trusted partner by GOs and by society by delivering value! + Active involvement and representation in local pharm association (e.g. Infarma) **Other features of the job:** + Medicine representation and promotion directly towards HCPs cannot be executed by this position. + Accurate, timely, compliant work and task follow up. + Ethical behavior in line with J&J’s Credo values is required + He/she may have contacts with HCPs that do not classify as medicine representation + He/she must report therapeutic area related activity details in the Company’s CRM system + He/she should have up-to-date knowledge and keep existing company procedures and related rules; detailed knowledge of HCBI SOPs and relevant finance processes is a must + He/she will liaise extensively with the EMEA HEMAR Team and closely collaborate with local Management (internally) and Embassies (externally), where needed ass support for the team + Maintain in the highest standards of ethics, quality, compliance and accountability: compulsory training must be completed on time, she/he should act in accordance with the Quality & Compliance Core Objective, and help others do the same when there is an opportunity. **Requirements (knowledge, education, skills):** + Education: University Degree or Equivalent, preferably in a relevant business-related discipline. + Experience in a multinational pharmaceutical company or in academic/consulting sectors specialized in Health Economics/Health Management/Market Access + Strong strategic thinking capabilities & leadership by influence + Good knowledge of clinical studies and TAs of Janssen and has advanced knowledge in Health Economics and Market Access + Excellent understanding Health Care financing system, health related public service and pharmaceutical industry + Embracing change as change and ability to challenge "status quo", agile way of working, and managing a high level of complexity + Excellent communication skills (oral, business writing, presenting and listening) + Native local speaker and fluent English knowledge in both oral and writing. + High level of ethical standards in business + Honest, trustworthy personality + Leadership, empathy, open communication, leading by example + Working knowledge of multiple therapeutic areas, oncology/hematology/immunology especially + Ability to navigate and produce results in a global, matrix organization, strong cross-departmental support, interdisciplinary approach + Pro-active and goal - oriented thinking + Proven teamwork and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to interact and influence all levels of business + Location and mobility: 80% local office based/ 20% travels **Organizational Behaviors:** In addition to individual role responsibilities employees are expected to deliver against key organizational behaviors. In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
