The Publicis Media Exchange tactically plans and activates across all local media channels too, including Television, Radio, Traditional OOH, Streaming Audio, Digital Video (OTT/CTV/VOD), and Digital & Programmatic OOH. Our tactical planning roles are the critical thread translating the communication goals to tactical plans and outcomes. In this role your passion for learning marketplace nuances and local dynamics will be pivotal to our success. Responsibilities As a Director, Local Tactical Planning, you will: ·Develop strong client relationships as a key local strategic and business partner ·Gain a deep, holistic and evolving understanding of our client’s business objectives, challenges, threats and opportunities – including forward looking awareness of emerging competitive threats ·Developing a deep understanding of our clients’ customers’ wants, needs, and behaviors across the full customer journey (awareness > trial > continuation) ·Guide the tactical direction in relation to our clients’ omni-channel marketing approach ·Oversee local media tactical plan development and budget ·Present recommendations to account service and clients ·Have strong understanding of budgets and media flow for assigned clients ·Effectively liaise with internal stakeholders (Investment, Finance), Clients, and external partners ·Developing POVs for our clients around business-critical issues and trends in Local ·Ability to lead the translation of insights into local strategies and tactics ·Leading internal brainstorms and client workshops ·Participating in new business pitches ·Assist Associate Director in the development of junior team members ·Provide job performance feedback to subordinates and make talent and staffing recommendations to management ·Resource for others in resolution of complex problems/issues ·May perform other duties and responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time ·Advocate for multicultural & diversity inclusion throughout tactical plans Qualifications This is a great opportunity for you if you have 9+ years of experience planning (local preferred) and at least 5 years managing people; If you are approachable, collaborative, responsible and accountable; If you exhibit sharp attention to detail and strong math skills; If you have an intermediate knowledge of Excel and experience with GLP, OX and Prisma media platforms. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
