How You’ll Make an Impact   

Negotiate commercial and government sales contracts with internal stakeholders, including Master Service Agreements, Right of Entry Agreements, Value Added Reseller Agreements, Requests For Proposals and Non-Disclosure AgreementsAdvise sales and business teams on contract interpretation and dispute resolutionDraft and revise contract templates and legal documents to enhance processesResearch and analyze statutes, regulations, case law and proposed legislation to manage risk effectivelyCollaborate with other in-house counsel and manage outside counsel on specialized customer-related issuesProvide guidance to contract managers within the legal teamContribute to special legal projects and additional duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum   

Required Qualifications   

Education  

Juris Doctor degree from a top-tier law schoolActive State Bar Membership in good standing and ability to be licensed to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction

Experience   

5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably with a large law firm or in-house legal team

Skills   

Ability to proactively manage multiple matters simultaneouslyCapable of working independently and collaboratively across teamsElevated leadership skills and strong attention to detailExtensive experience with complex commercial negotiations in commercial and government settingsStrong analytical, drafting and negotiation skillsExperience counseling sales organizations on demanding timelinesEffective and tactful communicator, both in person, in writing and by telephone with a variety of deal participantsAbility to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced team environment
