Director, International Finance

The Director, International Finance is responsible for the financial stewardship of the International business segments, including all Krispy Kreme businesses outside of the US. Key accountabilities include ensuring execution of the global strategy, driving growth and efficiency in the markets, and being a financial partner to the International teams. This position will work closely with many constituencies including the VP, International Franchise, Market Presidents, Market CFOs, and the global finance team.

 

Key competencies needed for this position include the ability to think strategically and communicate directly and clearly. In addition, the individual will need to have the ability to collaborate and partner with numerous internal and external as well as varied levels of individuals.


A TASTE OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Support all areas of the International business commercially, ensuring strong financial disciplines and profitable development of the businessForm strategic partnerships with local market teams to identify both growth and efficiency initiatives, and support each market in delivering on its financial objectivesLead the strategic planning process for International, including the development of long-range plans and annual budgetsPartner with the local business units on business insight and analysis, ensuring that the global Finance function works effectively to stimulate and support rapid but controlled business growthLead financial reporting for International markets, ensuring that leadership has clear visibility to performance, forecast, and risks and opportunities across the business. Regularly communicate to the executive team and other operational leaders on the performance against ongoing plans as well as the adjusted plans/forecasts going forwardServe as a true financial partner in helping develop solutions and options for the International business. As part of doing this, the individual must have a keen interest and understanding of a number of aspects of the business with a drive for continual learning and improvementBe an inspirational leader and role model, helping to implement a culture that supports drive, ownership, partnership, and accountability


YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:

10+ years of experience in Finance; experience in multi-location/QSR industry requiredBachelor’s Degree in Business/Finance majorExperience leading teams and ability to influence effectively (up, down, and across the organization)Ability to quickly grasp various business concepts, within both financial and operationsStrong understanding of financial conceptsStrong organizational skills - ability to manage multiple projectsAbility to work with a number of constituencies and to drive team performanceAbility to interface comfortably and effectively at all levels of the organizationMust be curious, drive learning and changeFlexibility to meet travel requirementsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (including Power BI)OneStream experience preferredMBA or similar designation preferredFranchise experience preferredInternational experience preferredPublic company experience a plus
