Director, Institutional Platform
**Responsibilities** + Lead the overall design and management of the institutional platform, with responsibility for how institutional products, services, and solutions support financial advisors and their clients. + Analyze and enhance the IFS institutional platform for institutions, endowments, foundations, and not-for-profit organizations. + Manage a portfolio of institutional products and services across their lifecycle, from initial design through ongoing enhancements and retirement. + Review, recommend, and implement improvements to institutional advisory offerings, including discretionary and non-discretionary solutions such as the Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) program. + Translate advisor, client, and market needs into practical platform plans covering product development, technology solutions, partnerships, and communication approach. + Work closely with financial advisors and internal partners to build strong relationships and ensure effective reporting and proactive communication. + Coordinate and participate in roadshows to promote Institutional Consulting services, in conjunction with territory-based field consultants + Develop a competitive intelligence database of peer firm offerings + Collaborate with marketing and other internal teams to support the development of institutional marketing materials and advisor-facing content. + Write or contribute to white papers and educational materials for financial advisors and institutional clients. + Manage and develop a team by setting expectations, monitoring performance, and holding individuals accountable for results. + Communicate institutional platform priorities and progress to internal stakeholders, including senior leadership. **Skills** + Ability to prioritize and manage complex initiatives across products, services, and technology. + Strong understanding of institutional client and advisor needs and how to translate them into platform improvements. + Experience leading integrated institutional solutions, including advisory programs, reporting, technology, and service models. + Clear communication skills and the ability to build trust with advisors and internal partners. **Educational / Previous Experience Requirements** + Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in the financial services industry with an emphasis on institutional business and products + OR ~ + An equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training as approved by Human Resources. + SIE required provided that an exemption or grandfathering cannot be applied. + FINRA Series 7 and 66 license required. + May have Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation
