are most vulnerable It is the first hospital in Fairfield County to be integrated into the Hartford HealthCare network and is the systemrsquos second largest hospitalPosition SummaryThe Director of Initiative Integration and Regional Operations will be a strategic partner to Fairfield Region leadership team and will lead the implementation and optimization of regional priorities and capabilities that enhance operations The Director will have direct leadership of several operational departments as well as being a strategic support partner for Balanced Score Card related workstreams Master Facility Planning and ProductivityPosition Control as well as other strategic initiatives or special projects that occur within the regionKey AccountabilitiesDirects monitors and contributes to strategic projects and priorities which are business critical in nature highly complex and involve the creation and oversight of multifaceted teamsOversees the performance and results for select Fairfield Region Operations departments ensuring that opportunities are afforded to staff to develop and maintain their skills at the highest standardsEnsures adherence to compliance procedures and internaloperational risk controls in accordance with all applicable regulatory standards requirements and policies assigned areasHas a key role in financial optimization and budgeting initiativesHas a key role in the Master Facility Plan coordination in conjunction with hospital space managementProvides high level support for regional expense management initiativesDevelops and presents project and system database reports on a regular basis and as needed by leadership Provides management and analysis of business data for use in decision making and organizational efficiency improvement analytical organizational and problem solving skillsStrong communications skills required both written and verbalVisible leader with excellent interpersonal communication skills who relates well with all levels of the organizationA creative forward thinking leader with the proven ability to engage coach and mentor direct reports colleagues and other key stakeholdersStrong budget knowledge and skills and experience with score metric monitoring and counter measure creationHigh level of analytical ability in order to gather and interpret information from various sourcesDemonstrated ability to develop short and long term operational and strategic plansStrong vendor and contract management skillsStrong ability to effectively monitor and manage the effectiveness of departmental functions and
