The Director, HR Technology is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and optimization of the HR technology ecosystem. This role will drive digital transformation by evaluating, selecting, and integrating HR systems (e.g., HCM, ATS, LMS, payroll, analytics) to enhance operational efficiency, data-driven decision-making, and employee experience. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams, manage vendor relationships, and ensure alignment between HR processes and technology solutions. The ideal candidate is expecting to collaborate closely with Global & Greater China Digital and Technology team, HR Teams to design and deploy the China HR digital transformation.
**CANDIDATE PROFILE**
**Education and Experience**
_Required_
+ Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Systems, Business, or related field required; Master’s degree or HR tech certifications (e.g., Workday, SAP) preferred.
+ 10+ years’ experience in HR technology, HRIS, or digital transformation, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
+ Proven track record of implementing and scaling HCM platforms (e.g., SAP, Workday, Oracle).
+ Expertise in system integrations, data architecture, and HR process design.
+ Ability to translate HR needs into technical requirements.
+ Exceptional communication and stakeholder influence
_Preferred_
+ Experience in global HRIS deployments.
+ Knowledge of AI, machine learning, or chatbot applications in HR.
**CORE WORK ACTIVITIES**
+ **HR Technology Strategy & Roadmap** : Define and execute a multi-year HR technology strategy aligned with business objectives and HR priorities.
+ **System Design & Integration** : Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of HRIS (both global and local) and ancillary systems (e.g., talent acquisition, performance management, workforce analytics).
+ **Project Leadership** : Oversee large-scale HR technology projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with minimal disruption.
+ **Process Optimization** : Partner with HR leaders to streamline workflows, automate manual processes, and enhance self-service capabilities.
+ **Vendor & Stakeholder Management** : Manage relationships with HR tech vendors, IT, and business leaders to drive continuous improvement.
+ **Compliance & Risk Management** : Ensure HR systems comply with China data privacy regulations and internal security policies.
