This leader will develop long term vision for the Global Hiring Sciences team with a concrete plan to get to the destination. They will understand the key business problems and partner with the recruiting operations team to prioritize and deliver key outcomes. This leader must be able to deliver at scale and across geographies.
About the team
Global Hiring Science (GHS) team is responsible for analytics and science that drives hiring of 100K+ Amazonians each year across the globe. The team seeks to enable Amazon Talent Acquisition (“ATA”) teams in their mission to hire the best candidates for the right roles, quickly, and at sustainable costs. GHS does so by developing science solutions to drive products, interventions and policies that improve the effectiveness, equity, experience, and efficiency of Amazon’s hiring practices The team builds selection tools like assessments and automated resume evaluation to help Amazon improve quality of hire while minimizing bias. The team also informs the overall selection process for each role including which competencies should be evaluated, which selection tools should be used and what order. The team builds science in sourcing space which helps match candidates to the right roles. This not only maximizes candidate satisfaction but also improves time to fill and reduces cost per hire.
