Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Director, Hematology/Oncology to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. Kings County Hospital operates a world-renowned Level I Trauma Center, one of only three in Brooklyn, which serves 2.6 million residents of Brooklyn and Staten Island.  The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Opportunity Details:

Directly supervise Hematology-Oncology faculty and staff. Oversee inpatient and outpatient program operations for physicians, students, and support personnel, as well as all Cancer Center Care programs. Coordinate services with hospital-wide programs in patient care, research, education, and community health. Organize and direct studies to optimize use of professional and support staff, in order to continuously evaluate and improve procedures. Plan and lead research projects. Conduct clinical conferences and staff meetings. Ensure accurate and complete medical records and reports. Manage daily clinical operations, including staff scheduling to maximize efficiency. Provide clinical leadership within the Department and to external partners.
