Position Summary:  Manage US professional and commercial education activities as it relates to IHFM products. Deliver the IHFM Institute (HCPs) and IHFM University (Commercial Reps, Clinical) brand experience by executing an education curricula comprised of renowned faculty and world-class training sites. This is a leadership role responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing education programs. 

How you will make an impact:

Direct activities with overall departmental responsibility of developing systems, planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, recommending and implementing changes to methods through several direct reports that may include people managers

Key responsibilities include developing and executing a professional education strategy for HCPs and training Commercial reps that support business goals and product launches. This involves creating and delivering diverse educational programs (regional and national workshops, sales events and online learning), staying current on adult learning principles, and building relationships with Key Opinion Leaders.

The role also entails leading a team, managing their development, and ensuring all programs meet regulatory and accreditation standards, including compliance with corporate guidelines.

Establish KPIs to measure program success and improve programs to meet higher standards and ensure high quality program development and delivery.

Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Compliance, R&D and Sales). Build external relationships with HCPs and professional societies and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Manage budgets and resources efficiently, assess courseware, demo units and simulation environments, and manage external consultants and developers as part of the role.

Develop training materials, curricula, LMS training systems, sites and faculty for courses worldwide

Execute in-person training courses, seminars, webinars, and other digital courses and distribute content to reps, clinical teams and HCPs worldwide

Develop the IHFM Institute (HCPs) and IHFM University (Commercial Reps, Clinical) brands by executing an education curricula comprised of renowned faculty and world-class training sites.

Develop key relationships with key physician leaders and critical executive leaders including; Sales, Regional, Cross Functional leaders and collaborators

What you will need (required):

Bachelor's Degree in related field and related experience in marketing required and skill levels exceeding the requirements of the previous level

Demonstrated track record in people management

Experience working in a regulated industry preferred

Proven successful project management leadership skills

Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools and systems

Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives

Demonstrated performance track record over multiple projects and ability to manage resources to meet deliverable timelines

Expert understanding of product labeling content approval processes and systems, regulatory guidelines and legal boundaries

Expert understanding of related aspects of product use, cath lab/OR environment and procedural best practices

Understanding of medical device asset creation, regulation requirements for claims and training content creation/updates

Demonstrated ability to direct teams and provide coaching and feedback.

Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization

Ability to work and excel within a fast paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment

Ability to articulate and create the vision of the business unit

Conduct technical, product briefings for cross functional teams such as complaints, Engineering, regulatory affairs, quality affairs and clinical affairs

Regularly interacts with major customers to train and demonstrate product benefits and clinical best practices

Dedicated to quality client service, is pro-active and responsive to client needs

Develop peer, cross functional and cross business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness

Develop relationships and leverage them to influence change

Support and solicit input from team members at all levels within the organization for implementation into future product iterations

Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

For Illinois, the base pay range for this position is $156,000 to $221,000 (highly experienced). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience). Applications will be accepted while this position is posted on our Careers website.
