**Position Summary:**
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to fill the role of Director, Global Pricing Excellence. This individual will lead the alignment and governance of our global pricing excellence framework, ensuring alignment across our decentralized businesses. As the leader of the Global Pricing Excellence function, you will play a critical role in establishing standards, best practices, and training around pricing processes to drive consistency and profitability across the organization. Your efforts will help ensure that pricing becomes a competitive advantage by aligning with our enterprise business strategy.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Governance and Strategy:** Roll out and govern a global Pricing Excellence framework that aligns with the enterprise strategy, ensuring all businesses adhere to best practices and standards in pricing.
+ **Framework Alignment:** Lead the alignment of our businesses to the Pricing Excellence framework, focusing on the three key pillars: Setting, Getting, and Netting, to drive consistent pricing execution and margin improvement globally.
+ **Cross-functional Collaboration:** Drive strong cross-functional collaboration across Marketing, Sales, Finance, and other key functions to embed pricing as a core business capability.
+ **Training and Development:** Develop and deploy global training programs on pricing excellence, ensuring all relevant teams understand and adopt pricing strategies that support our business objectives.
+ **Performance Tracking:** Implement and manage tools and metrics to track and assess pricing performance across the organization, with a focus on continuous improvement.
+ **Global and Regional Leadership:** Act as a key advisor and business partner to regional and global leadership, providing insights and recommendations for strategic pricing decisions.
+ **Market Analysis:** Lead the team in conducting comprehensive pricing and market analyses to guide pricing strategies that optimize margin and global competitiveness.
**Best Practices:** Develop and maintain a global repository of pricing best practices, lessons learned, and case studies to support decision-making and knowledge sharing across the organization.
**What you need**
· Bachelor’s degree required
· MBA preferred
· 10+ years of work experience required
· 7+ years medical device and marketing/sales experience preferred
· 4+ years of people management experience highly preferred
· Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines
· Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authority
· Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies
· Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
